Kelly has worked as a freelance make-up artist for the past few years, having trained at Jemma Kidd, Airbase, The London Academy of Media, Film & TV, Brentwood Academy and Essex School of Beauty.

Essex Wedding Bridal Make Up
As well as traditional make-up Kelly now offers Airbase Airbrush make-up – the professional,
silicone based spray make-up.
Kelly is also available for special occasion make-up such as a school prom, party or simply a night out.
Other services include make-up lessons for anyone who is getting married abroad and needs a little help with their application and technique, as well as eye lash and brow treatments in
the comfort of your own home.
Make Up Trials
It is advisable that all brides have a make-up trial at least 6-8 weeks before their wedding date. The trial is also a time for you to discuss your wedding dress design, hair style, colour scheme, timings and how you
would like to look on your big day.
Kelly can also advise on a skincare regime for the weeks leading up to your wedding day to ensure that your skin is glowing!
Trials are carried out at your home and can take between one and two hours. However, there is no time limit. Kelly will only leave when you are 100% happy with your final look.
On your wedding day, Kelly will arrive at either your home or chosen venue at the agreed time and re-create the look from your trial.

Kelly was absolutely fantastic both at the trial and on my wedding day. She did my make-up, my 5 bridesmaids and my mum on both occasions. kelly is very professional and friendly. she knows her products and listens to what you want and gives her advice too. on my wedding day, kelly was calm and just amazing. All the bridesmaids and my mum looked beautiful and i felt like a princess. if anyone is choosing a make up artist for a wedding, prom, or any occasion, i would highly recommend Kelly. i can not thank her enough for what she did.

I don't normally wear make-up so when it came to booking make-up for my wedding I was really worried. I didn't want anything to over the top but wanted it to look nice on the day. I had a trail with Kelly and from the minute she walked through my front door I felt comfortable. Kelly is very friendly and knows her stuff, she knows what and what not to use. I had the airbase make up which is great, not only does it make you look perfect it lasts all day long. I shed some tears and the make-up didn't move. I would recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a make-up person for their wedding. My daughter Jo used her services for her wedding in March and Kelly made us feel all at ease from the time we met her for the trial all the way up to the day of the wedding . My daughter wanted something natural and nothing untoward and she got exactly what she wanted nothing was too much trouble - and with myself I tend to have really rosy cheeks when I am stressed and you would not have noticed that I have this problem and Kelly goes beyond the services she offers and helped us out on the day when we were panicking with my daughters wedding dress to fasten the back . I would highly recommend Kelly .

Kelly was excellent from start to finish, from my trial right up intill my wedding day. She arrived on both occasions exactly on time. My make up lasted all day and night and I didnt need to touch it up at all. I would highly recomened Kelly for any brides to be.

Kelly done my make up for my wedding and also my 2 bridesmaids and my mums. She done an amazing job (and i am very fussy with my make up) and she was very calming on the day as it was a very hectic morning. Kelly is very professional whilst being friendly and down to earth.

Kelly did my make up for my wedding day and I cannot recommend her and her services highly enough. She is absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble and she bent over backwards to ensure i received the look I wanted for my day. She was very knowledgeable about the products and always very professional.
I was thrilled with the final look and Kelly even offered to stay behind and help me into my dress when I was running late. I would highly recommend her to any bride for their big day.

Kelly was brilliant - I'm a nightmare with my make-up but I had no worries at all.She made me feel at ease,was very professional and even though it snowed heavy she reassured me all the time that she would be there.I couldn't be happier with the result. I contacted Kelly at relatively short notice for availability for my Wedding, luckily for me she was free!
I can't recommend Kelly enough, she's strikes the right balance between friendly and professional and has so much patience. Her time keeping is impeccable, even with the snow and ice on the ground she turned up at the pre-confirmed time on my Wedding day.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her and am trying to think of an excuse to use her services again soon!

I found Kelly’s details on a wedding forum while looking for a new makeup artist, following a makeup trial I wasn’t totally happy with. With only a few weeks until my wedding I was apprehensive if I would find a new makeup artist who was free and who could give me my confidence back.
Kelly was amazing, form our first phone conversation, where she put me totally at ease and reassured me, to the trial where she showed me how amazing I could really look on my wedding day. I had no hesitation in booking Kelly for my big day following the trial. Kelly is a total professional, very friendly and completely understands the look you wish to achieve.
On the big day Kelly produced amazing results for my two bridesmaids and myself, she goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is totally happy with their look and nothing is too much trouble. Kelly was fantastic both on the trial for my Maid of Honour and myself.
She spent 3 hours with us to ensure we were happy, me in particular as I am
not used to wearing a lot of make-up. On the day, she was so relaxed and
arrived at 8am to ensure we were all done with plenty of time to spare. She
knew I was nervous and did my make-up stage by stage making sure I was
happy. My make-up turned out perfectly. I was so delighted with it. She
also did the make-up of my Maid of Honour and the two Mums’, all of which
looked beautiful.
Kelly is professional, very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for her to ensure you feel a million dollars on your special day. I would highly recommend Kelly for your wedding day make-up, you won't be disappointed.

A friend recommended me to Kelly Hollands as her daughter had used her for her school prom makeup. I looked at Kelly's website and I was very impressed with how many brides makeup she had done. When I booked my trial with Kelly she was very good in arranging times and was very flexible as to when she could come and visit me and came on a Sunday. I had my trial Kelly a few months before my wedding and she came fully prepared with lots of makeup (suitcase full) and was very professional. She was very hygienic and used clean brushes all th time etc. I was very pleased with my trial, she knew exactly what I wanted and she done her first attempt on mine, and my bridesmaids and my mums makeup with no upset or worries. I was nervous having my makeup done as I had never had this done before and all my worries went away with Kelly. As I had 3 adult bridesmaids, 3 little ones and my mum they all also had their makeup done by Kelly and they all loved it. My mum only ever does her own makeup and loved the way Kelly had done her makeup. We all had false eyelashes and they looked lovely, our eye makeup was fabulous. On the day of my wedding well what can I say I got married in Whitam and my venue was Braxted Park Park. Due to Kelly having to do mine, 3 adult bridesmaids 3 little bridesmaids and my mums makeup and I was getting married at 1 and was leaving at 12.30 to get to the church Kelly arrived early at 8p.m and we were all our makeup was perfect and we were all ready on time. Kelly was calm and professional throughout and we were all so pleased she was able to be part of the day. I can honestly recommend Kelly to do makeup she is brilliant and you will not be disappointed with the results. I felt absolutely fabulous and so did my bridesmaids and my mum. All my friends commented how lovely the makeup was and one of my friends who is getting married next May is using Kelly. Kelly is excellent at her job and whoever uses her will not be disappointed she is truly good at her work.

Kelly is very professional and I thoroughly recommend her for your big day! Not only was she patient and professional at the make up trial and on the big day she also went way beyond the call of duty and helped with other things on the big day, mainly assisting me with putting on my dress! I was very happy with my make up, I have to say she worked wonders and I had loads of comments on how nice it was!

I was quite nervous about my wedding day make-up. I do not tend to wear much, if any, usually and was afraid I would not look like myself. However, Kelly Holland was excellent from start to finish. She responded to all of my queries promptly and was very punctual for both the trial and the actual wedding day. I was instantly put at ease by her friendly personality and she really listened to how I felt and what I wanted. I was very impressed with the results and received many compliments on the day. I would definitely recommend her!

I had already spoken to the lady I had chosen to do my hair (someone Kelly had recommended on her site) who was also getting married and having worked with Kelly on a number of occasions was in fact using her at her own wedding...I couldn't think of a better recommendation. And I did not regret it. My first meeting with Kelly was brilliant. She was so professional and turned up with an array of amazing products. Paying for a trial was well worth it. Kelly listened to my ideas and was able to advise the best way of achieving the look. I was amazed at the final look. And on Kelly's suggestion had booked my trial for the day of my works Christmas to make the most of my amazing look. Kelly was prompt and again just as brilliant on the day of my wedding. I had a 2-hr make-up lesson in my own home by Kelly. Kelly showed me techniques/colours/tricks/tips for applying make-up. The lesson involved Kelly making up one side of my face then I copied on the other side which was very helpful as I'd feel confident applying it myself afterwards. Kelly also helped me choose products which were suited to my skin type (correct foundation etc.) and also advised on brands - not always premium ones. I found Kelly very knowledgeable, helpful and thorough and is also great at advising afterwards if there was anything I forgot!

Kelly's work was amazing, everyone commented on how nice it looked. The Make-up lasted all day and even looked fresh at 3am!!!! Would without a doubt recommend her. She was a joy to have with us getting ready in the morning.

When I booked my wedding I really wanted a make up person to make me look fab! I found Kelly's details and as she was free on my wedding date I booked a trial. I had no idea what I wanted so decided to let Kelly work her magic and make me bride like and she worked with colours that suited me. I was very happy with the trial so knew that the actual wedding day was all under control and I would not have the stress of trying to make myself look nice!
On the wedding day, Kelly arrived exactly when she said she would (she double checked the week before so I knew what time she would be arriving) and because I knew she was going to make me look lovely it made the run up to the wedding so calm!
She did my bridesmaids make up first and then mine and we both looked wonderful. She put me at ease and we had a fun morning chatting and getting excited!
I was so pleased with the result and I really did feel like a princess!
Thank you so much to Kelly for all her help and for a fantastic service for a great price!

Kelly listened to what style I wanted and translated it perfectly to suit the day and my face. She was there from first thing right up to the start of the ceremony and even helped me into my dress when the panic and rush started. I cannot recommend Kelly highly enough. The make up used was top quality brands which made for the perfect look for me.

Kelly put me at ease from the beginning she encouraged me to state clearly what I would like and then guided me with her experience to get a look that I was happy with. She took the time to understand any concerns or hangs ups I had and addressed them with her cosmetic skills and extensive range of make up.( A whole suitcase to be precise.) On my wedding day she was calm and very professional, the bridal party were really pleased with the results, and she even managed an extra person on the day. I woke up the morning after the wedding and my make up was still intact, a testament in itself.

I booked Kelly Hollands to do my make-up for my wedding on 24th August 2008 and also make-up for my mother, the groom's mother and my maid of honour. Kelly arrived promptly on the day of the wedding and was professional throughout.
I was delighted with my make-up on the day, as was my mother, mother-in-law, and maid of honour. I would definitely recommend Kelly to other brides-to-be.
I had a make-up trial done the month prior to my wedding which was very valuable as Kelly was able to adjust the make-up until I was completely happy with it which led to a much more relaxed wedding day.

Very professional and helpful (not only with the make up on the day), as she helped put a few stitches in one of my bridesmaids dresses when we found on the day it was slightly too big and slipping down. I was kept well informed prior to my trial in terms of confirming details etc, and she seemed very organised. I would recommend her to any bride looking for bridal and bridal party make up.

My experience was fantastic. Kelly is a lovely person. I had a trial prior to the big day and she went through all the make up she had and advised me which colours would suit me the best with my skin tone and colouring. The outcome was amazing. She carried this through to the day itself, everyone was amazed and the make up was still on long into the evening, just needing to touch up my lipstick which she gave me some to do so. I would totally recommend Kelly to anyone I know who is getting married or has a special event.
