Whether you choose to hold the whole ceremony with us making use of our licence for Civil / Partnership Ceremonies or opt for a traditional service followed by a reception at the Manor you can be sure of a memorable wedding day planned with precision to your exact requirements. We can host Ceremonies for up to 200 guests in the Dove Cote whilst smaller weddings can take place inside the main house in the Nelson Room or Bishops Room which are licensed for up to 70 and 60 respectively. Our Banqueting Suite can seat 150 for a wedding breakfast or up to 200 if a less formal buffet menu is preferred. Smaller parties can opt for a more intimate setting; dining in the Manor House itself.

The Lawn Banqueting

A Georgian Country house with beautiful landscaped gardens, which provide the perfect setting for your photos. There is a large adjacent car park, where vehicles can be left overnight. There are four separate rooms, with their own distinctive character, for the Civil Ceremony by the Registrar. Our new air-conditioned Orangery n seats up to 130 and opens onto 100ft of covered terrace.. Two fully licensed Bars (inside and Terrace). All food is freshly cooked on site by our Caterers, with an excellent and sensibly-priced choice from a simple Buffet to a Banquet. Our dedicated team treat Your Day as an extra special occasion. Parklands

Parklands beautiful 17th Century mansion, nestled in one of the country’s oldest deer parks, creates the perfect setting for your special day.
Our vast grounds provide a magnificent backdrop for reception drinks and canapés, and our stunning silk-lined pavilion can accommodate up to 450 guests.
Parklands is licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies.

Fennes

Located in 100 acres of scenic Essex countryside, Fennes, a charming Georgian Manor House, has such a welcoming feel that you could imagine it was your own home.

Braxted Park Estate

This beautiful Queen Anne manor house is located in the heart of the Essex countryside. It is a fully licensed wedding venue with a capacity of 50-200 and can cater for weddings of varying sizes all year round. The venue also caters for various cultural requirements such as Greek, Jewish, Asian and Caribbean weddings, as well as civil ceremonies, but also more traditional church weddings, as the local parish church is situated within the grounds of the estate.

Prested Hall
