Are you having a wedding photographer or videographer ?
With the current technology, you can bet your last pound note that just about everyone at your wedding will turn up with a digital camera. You can also safely bet that at least one of the wedding guests will own a digital camcorder also.
So with the current recession biting some people quite hard, we were wondering if brides and grooms were still finding it in their wedding budget to hire both a professional wedding photographer and a videographer.
I think everyone is fully aware that a pro photographer will take much better shots then your Auntie Maureen and her 5 mega pixal Tesco brand pocket camera, but with so many people, taking so many photos, and being able to share them so freely, is the wedding photographer one of the people feeling the pinch ?
The same goes for the wedding videographer, for a lot of brides and grooms the only good thing about returning from the honeymoon is to relive the wedding day through the hard work of the videographer.
So, today we offer a poll, for the brides and grooms, are you planning to hire a photographer, a video man, both or neither ?
Also, we’d love to hear from the professionals too, are you still getting plenty of work this summer ? Tell us below.

Interesting poll…my two pennie worth as Pro Photographer in Essex.
Being a wedding photographer is so much more then taking photo’s, ok digital cameras are getting much better but thats only half the story.
Its a bit like buying a ferrari if you don’t know how to drive, the camera is only a tool it take a professional to get professional results.
I shot a wedding last year in Oct it was pouring with rain and the only place to photographthe large group of 75+ people was in a very dark hall not an easy job.
The photo’s and the video are the only reord of the wedding, trust it to a professional.
