Most couples will have young nieces or nephews, and your friends and family may also have young children that will be attending your big day. The problem is, how do you keep the little ones entertained enough throughout the entire wedding ?

Activity bags for kids
These are a great idea, and affordable. Perfect for keeping the children entertained throughout the long wedding speeches. There are a few companies that’ll make a goody pack for you, but it’s just as easy to make your own as you’ll know what interests the kids have. A great idea is to buy some of the gift bags you can get in card shops, and fill it with fun things for the children to do while the wedding meal takes place. Different little games, colouring in books, activity books, card games, basically anything they can play with at the table without making a complete an utter mess of your wedding day.
Make sure you get different things for boys and girls. The kids will love it, and their parents will appreciate the peace !
Hire a Magician or kids entertainer
Kids love magic, and kids love to be entertained. Although the wedding speeches will be entertaining for the old wedding guests, the kids will be bored stiff. If you want to keep them well and truly entertained throughout the afternoon, then hire some entertainment for them, and get them set up in a quiet corner of the wedding venue. There are some highly talented children’s entertainers around, and some magicians that specialise in entertaining the kids.
Hire a Mobile Creche
If you have some very young children attending the wedding, then a mobile creche may be the answer. Fully qualified and insured, a professional mobile creche will provide the young children with hours of entertainment, leaving their parents safe in the knowledge that they are only a short distance away and are enjoying themselves. The parents can then enjoy the wedding more so themselves.
Hire a Bouncy Castle
The ultimate in easy to hire, highly entertaining and safe for all ages. Make sure your wedding venue has an area where you could place a bouncy castle and that there is plenty of room around it. Even if your wedding day is unfortunate enough to suffer with bad weather, the bouncy castle can be covered easily enough, and the children won’t care. Make sure you have someone to supervise (who won’t mind missing your wedding) and the children will entertain themselves all day, leaving no screaming or shouting throughout the wedding speeches or ceremony.
